Veterans Day Thanks

The Trustees of the lodge would like to thank Howard Smith of Orange Brokerage for all the food he donated for Breakfast and Lunch for our veterans day Parade. We appreciate Pete Gonzales bringing the food and for preparing the delicious breakfast before the parade. Exalted Ruler Tim Richardson was kind enough to help cook after being at work all night. Pete did all the work but we thank Tim anyway. Thank you to Robert Leyendecker and Ron Rizzato for doing lunch as well as to Doris Cruse for the meat tray

We thank Captain Jose Raygoza of the 136th Combat Support Brigade from Camp Mabry (formerly our own 111th Support Group) for the troops and the 4 Humvee's who escorted us in the parade.

And we especially want to thank all the Elks that helped and came to participate in the parade. We owe our veterans so much for their service and sacrifice to protect our freedom. It was great to see our Lodge show its support and appreciation of our troops.
