The Front of the BPOE 201 Lodge.

In over a century of history, Austin Lodge #201 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has had its ups and downs, its good times and lean years, but through all it has held steadfast to its commitment to charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity, the cardinal principles of the Order. From its founding on the evening of May 9, 1891, the Lodge has welcomed brothers from every walk of life who shared the Order's belief in God, country and doing good for all mankind. Our current Lodge is located at 700 Dawson Road in South Austin, just a few blocks from Town Lake, the Palmer Center, and Zilker Park. The Lodge office is open 8:30am - 12:30pm Monday thru Friday. The Lodge Calendar has a listing of all the monthly events, meetings, and Lounge hours.

The Austin Elks Lodge is a great place to spend time with family and friends, enjoying not only our great Lounge and Bar, but also our large Lawn and BBQ Area, and Swimming Pool. We are blessed with a great group of Officers who work tirelessly on all matters concerning the Lodge and its Members.

One of the truly satisfying aspects of BPOE 201 is the range and amount of benevolent work we do. We support numerous Charitable Trusts, Veteran Services, and Youth Activities. Any funds that the Lodge earns beyond necessary expenses go straight towards these and other Community Services.
